Your wedding is no ordinary day, so why settle for an ordinary venue? Celebrate ON the water in Destin, FL aboard the Solaris Yacht. Recognized in The Knot's Best of Weddings Hall of Fame, SunQuest Cruises' Solaris Yacht is a 125' yacht with three decks of indoor and outdoor spaces for your ceremony and reception. Couples have their choice between a beach ceremony on a nearby white sands beach or a yacht ceremony atop the Sky Deck with 360-degree waterfront views. Every wedding package includes a dedicated wedding planner to help couples customize and design their ceremony and reception aboard Solaris. Our award-winning wedding planners will be with you every step of the way through this little thing called "wedding planning." In addition to a wedding planner, couples will have access to our Executive Chef and house florist to fine-tune the details of their big day. Your wedding day is unique aboard Solaris! Guests will never forget cruising along the Emerald Coast aboard a luxurious yacht as the sun sets over the Emerald Coast.

I could rave about the Sunquest Team all day. IMPECCABLE staff. Our entire experience from start to finish was so easy and stress-free. We planned with Courtney who was always responsive and gave detailed answers to all of our questions. The team was able to make all of our wedding goals achievable. Our day-of Coordinator, Josh, was so professional and fun to work with. He kept us on timeline all night and truly understood our priorities. He was so friendly and kind and made the night so much fun for us. Our DJ's were on point with every single song, we never wanted to leave the dance floor! Gwen did such a great job being our MC as well and making sure our officiant was mic'd so all of the guests could hear the ceremony. The food was to die for. The portions were great, no one went home hungry, and I'm still hearing from guests how much they enjoyed their meals. I really can not recommend the Sunquest team and venue enough. This was the most fun night of our lives and we couldn't have had such a wonderful time without them. If I could leave 10 stars I would.

My wedding was everything I dreamed of because of this wonderful team. On the yacht my husband and I were treated like royalty. The service was amazing. I have no regrets booking with Sunquest. I wish we would’ve booked longer on the yacht.

Cannot say enough good things about sunquest!! Our planner, Courtney, was AMAZING! She made the planning process so smooth and any little question I had she’d email me back immediately. It really took the stress away from the planning portion. The entire staff the day of were the best, all so attentive, friendly, helpful and everything went PERFECTLY. There isn’t a single thing I’d change about the wedding day. The decor turned out perfectly and all of the guests had the best time.

The Solaris yacht is a fabulous and dreamy venue! The views are fantastic, the staff is friendly and easy to work with, the planning process is stress free, and the food and drinks on board were delicious. The house musicians were amazing and did a wonderful job. The weather on our wedding day ended up perfectly and our sunset wedding photos were fabulous. We used the house photographer and she did an incredible job. With all of that being said, I was under the impression that the team does may not put as much focus/attention into the Sunday or non-Saturday weddings (we had a Sunday private charter). There were several things that were forgotten/neglected. When I boarded the boat the name cards were all out of whack, the names were at the correct table, but not seated in the proper order. I had to rearrange the name cards last minute to make sure the couples and families were seated next to each other. For example, there were babies and kids not placed next to parents and married couple separated. I was never given a seating chart with names in order at the tables, and should have requested this prior to the wedding. Also, we paid to have a decorated getaway golf cart after our sparkler exit and did not receive this. We walked down the sparkler sendoff and were expecting a decorated golf cart that was not there so had to hitch a ride home with my sister. Lastly, the dinner service was behind schedule and not according to the time frame we reviewed prior to the wedding. This ate into the dance floor time, so we ended up with only about 30 minutes of dancing time at the end. Had I known this I would have gotten the 5 hour charter instead or the 4. If dancing is important to you, definitely elect the 5 hour charter! Despite the few things that were forgotten, the wedding did turn out wonderfully, I just wanted to highlight the few issues we had to help those booking for the future! Definitely go for 5 hour, and make sure to review the seating arrangement on paper prior to the wedding. Other than that, the wedding was amazing.

I truly can’t say enough great things about working with the Sunquest Cruise team and my September wedding & reception aboard the Solaris Yacht. Planning a destination wedding can be stressful, but the Sunquest team was able to take a lot of the pressure off of the planning process by providing all inclusive options in their packages. I had to swap planners midway (my original planner was relocating and leaving the company) and I was a bit worried, but Courtney came in and executed all my visions seamlessly. I did not want to have to DIY my decor, I wanted someone to bring my vision to life for me, and that 100% happened! My day of coordinator, Lindsey, was absolute joy and is so talented at her job. We had 100 of our family/friends on board and she was able to wrangle everyone and keep us on track all evening with a smile never leaving her face. I used all of their preferred vendors and since they work with them regularly, it made my life much easier b/c my planner was able to take that pressure off of me. The house DJ kept the energy up all night, the emcee was great, food was delicious, staff was attentive, bartender kept the drinks flowing, and if anything went wrong, I had no clue about it. My wedding vision has always been “beach” but when we took a dinner cruise (while looking for venues), I was immediately sold on the Solaris and knew I had to get married there. It’s been over a month since my wedding, and my guests are still raving about how unique, fun, and energetic my wedding was. How many people can say they’ve been to a yacht wedding?? If you are looking for a venue that is unique (with the most beautiful sunset and views) and want to work with an amazing team that will make your planning process smooth, look no further than the Solaris Yacht (Sunquest Cruises).

I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Sunquest Cruises and every person I worked with or encountered from the company throughout the wedding planning process and the wedding day itself. From day one, they were always so thoughtful, helpful and never missed a beat. Once we got paired with our wedding planner, Courtney, I told her that I had pretty much no clue what I was doing, but had a color scheme and general idea of what we wanted; to say she made our vision come to life is an understatement. I don't know how many times I told her, \"Courtney, it's like you can read my mind!\" Every single detail was flawless and perfectly represented what we wanted as a couple. The flowers were just about the most beautiful florals I've ever seen, the food was INCREDIBLE, the in-house DJs were so fun and sweet, the wait staff on board was kind and attentive, our day of coordinator, Jeremy, was a helpful and calming presence, and overall the day was just perfect. Our guests truly were raving about every aspect of the event. I'm so thrilled we chose Sunquest for our wedding, and I will never forget how special it was.

The team at Sunquest cruises is truly top notch and we cannot recommend them enough! I really wanted a smaller wedding that did not take me months/years to plan out and Sunquest gave us just that! Julie, our wedding planner, helped us plan our night down to the exact detail and helped us decide on ways to personalize our ceremony and reception to make all of our dreams come true! Having in house catering, photography, and florists made choosing vendors a breeze and Sunquest even provided a list of preferred outside vendors that made planning our entire weekend so so easy. The house band was so fun and had our guests out on the dance floor all night! We truly enjoyed ourselves and all of our guests cannot stop talking about how much fun they had. We are actually already planning to go back on a dinner cruise on the Solaris because we can’t get enough of this amazing team of people! The entire staff of Sunquest Cruises exceeded our expectations. Covid-19 caused us to have devastating changes to our wedding plans forced upon us very last minute. Thank goodness for Kristi and her team. We planned the most amazing wedding we could have ever dreamed of in 9 days!! The planners were totally dedicated to meeting our needs and some! The planning was seamless and they removed 100% of the stress from me! I cannot even describe what a fantastic job they did. The yacht is beautiful, the weather was perfect, and we had the time of our lives. I would 103983% recommend.

By far the best experience I have and probably will ever had. I'll break it down into two parts: preparation and the wedding.I started preparing a year in advance because I was getting deployed and wouldn't be able to focus on it until a couple of months before. Suffice to say they were great. I stayed in contact with Julie one of their wedding coordinators (the best coordinator ever) via email, and every email was succinct and to the point. Any question I had no matter how trivial or nonsensical was answered in a fast and thorough way. Julie also helped coordinate all the vendors from the cake, flowers, photographer and even afterwards with floral preservation. Honestly, this was the easiest preparation I ever had to do. I was asked what I preferred, answered as such and the magic was done. The actual wedding day, was magical I was blown away boarding the ship. I could not believe how beautiful the ship was transformed into. I was able to meet the rest of the staff and the day of coordinator Nicole knew everything that Julie and I discussed, they were extremely helpful and happy to be there for me! Unfortunately it rained that day, funnily enough it was a beautiful and bright day the day before and after, but Sunquest still made it magical and amazing. From the ceremony to the reception and dancing it was the best night of my life.In conclusion, I am definitely one that pays for convenience to make my life easier, and this was the best way to do a wedding for anyone that likes to make their life easier or even those that want to be in charge of every detail. The best part though was that it wasn't even that expensive compared to what a magical night I was given and the little I had to do. I would highly recommend Sunquest to anyone for their special day because they'll make it even more memorable!

Overall I would give Sunquest/ Solaris a 4/5 star rating. They were really wonderful to work with and my wedding day was absolutely perfect. I planned a destination wedding from NC to FL, and from the beginning they made the planning process so easy and as stress free as possible. The food and service on the ship was 5/5 stars, the bar was excellent, plenty of options for everyone on board, and the atmosphere was perfect. The reason I did not give them a full 5/5 stars for the whole experience, is for the following: My coordinator who was with me through out the entire planning process, unfortunately was not there the day of my wedding. Some details such as seating arrangements, what our first dance song was, where my toss bouquet was, and our vows, got messed up the day of. I guess just due to miscommunication between her and the girl who took over for her the day of. The other thing that threw us off guard, and do not be surprised by this, you most likely will not be the only bride on board, unless you rent out the entire ship. We rented the second deck, and even though it was more private than sharing the first deck, guests from the main deck, including brides and grooms, will float up to your reception area. It did not take away from how fun it was, I just was not expecting it. It does in a way take away from making you feel like its \"your day\

My wedding day/ evening/ night was an absolute JOY!!!!! Nicole Manard did her thing and I so apologize for ever doubting her due to comments and experience. Her energy & professionalism was and still is very much appreciated. The band showed up and showed off ensuring the night of sounds was filled with fun jams to dance to. Not sure if it was on purpose but we loved the old school jams from artist originally from our home town - BOSTON!!! Every single person that attended said it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. The decor was on point / food was good/ drinks timely/ staff super pleasant / weather PERFECT “Thank the Lord only for that”.... even the Captain was super nice! SunQuest Cruise we appreciate you and hope to spend our one year anniversary on board with you guys. The only hiccup we had was the AC going out for a moment right before ceremony - my bridalcrew are troopers and were prepared with mini fans so we were ok. Came back on in due time. Things happen - remain positive! Thank you SOLARIS for making such a memorable day an absolute beautiful one that I will forever SMILE about when thought about! Do I recommend you guys? HECK YEAHNote: Do the staff and yourself a favor brides and be punctual / orderly when they request information. They are humans and have other clients. Being proactive and specific is key. Nicole did great with all follow up emails and even provided some suggestions that ended up saving me money (cake) - beautiful and tasty. We appreciate you so much Nicole and really hope all your clients give you the respect and credit you so deserve girlie .......“SLIM”

Held our son’s rehearsal dinner on the Solaris and was not disappointed in any way. The food was outstanding from beginning to end. The service was great. Nicole worked with me on everything I needed like testing our video equipment ahead of time. We chose the convenience of having them prepare our table centerpieces. I went with a simple starfish and hydrangea piece. The hydrangea was fresh and beautiful. The entertainers were great. Can’t give Solaris credit for the sunset but it was absolutely gorgeous that night. All in all a very memorable occasion which is exactly what we wanted. Thanks to everyone at Solaris for making our event special.

They were always available to answer any questions (even super last minute). They are reliable, easy to connect with, and honest. Julie was understanding about our budget limitations and gave us second and third options if we requested them. As a bride that had a hard time making decisions, they were able to narrow down options for me that were elegant yet affordable. The day of, there was some questionable weather. Some plans had to be rearranged due to this but it still turned out amazingly, and our guests had a great time/would have never known. My husband and I truly would not have changed a thing. I love that we were able to get married somewhere extremely unique with a classic wedding feel! When you imagine a wedding, you tend to think it's overwhelming and stressful, but not with SunQuest. Everything from start to finish was a breeze thanks to their Team. The food was awesome too!! I wish we could rewind back to our wedding day so we could do it all over again!!!

I can not say enough good things about our experience with Sunquest. Being local, we had always heard great things about them, but they beyond exceeded our expectations. We chose to have our ceremony and reception on the Solaris Yacht. From the very beginning Kristi made the process very easy. We were then introduced to our wedding planner/event coordinator Julie who was AMAZING. Julie maintained constant communication with me during the whole planning period and even met with me in person on more than one occasion. She recommended great local vendors and had an answer to every question and a solution to every issue we encountered. The night before the wedding we had a super fun bonfire at the local beach organized by Kristi and Jeremy. When it came to the wedding day, Julie had everything organized to a tee. The venue was BEAUTIFUL, the DJ was great, and the staff was so kind and accommodating, and the food was wonderful. My guests haven't stopped raving about how fun the whole experience was. I truly could not have asked for a better wedding.

My daughter was married aboard the Solaris 10/27/2018,It was more than we could have imagined! I worked with Kristi and I told her I'm sad our journey is over. She was so pleasant and comforting to work with. It didn't matter what obstacles came our way, she smiled and took care of them. The food was amazing, the D J was great, Captain Lenny was the sweetest ever. We had a bit of a windy day, but he assured my daughter we would sail, and we did. Can't thank the whole crew and team members enough.

The food was amazing, the D J was great, Captain Lenny was the sweetest ever. We had a bit of a windy day, but he assured my daughter we would sail, and we did. Can't thank the whole crew and team members enough.

I was married on this amazing yacht this past Sunday. Best day ever! Julie, the coordinator was a dream to work with; always attentive, reliable and willing to answer any questions I had, no matter how silly lol. Our experience with Sunquest Cruises was truly amazing, from start to finish! We didn’t want it to end. Julie went above & beyond her duties, always answering questions from my daughter/the bride via text, phone, & email. This made the planning phase go so easy being 12 hours away!Once we boarded the Solaris yacht, it was wonderful! Julie was on it & kept every aspect of the wedding on task, smooth & flawless.You couldn’t ask for a more beautiful view for a wedding ceremony. The flowers were gorgeous & the Captain was awesome as the officiant.The entertainer/DJ/MC did an outstanding job throughout the evening. He had people dancing for every song.All staff, were very helpful & friendly...the bartender, the servers, were excellent!The food was delicious! Everyone raved about the appetizers & their meals. Sunquest cruises took care of our reception as well as our wedding ceremony and beach bonfire rehearsal dinner. Kristi Julie and their team made my vision a reality. The beach bonfire rehearsal was unique and fun and everything we wanted it to be. My only regret is not requesting more benches or getting a permit for longer than three hours! My daughter and son-in-law recently got married aboard the Solaris Yacht (5/20/18). It was absolutely perfect!!! When my daughter first talked about a destination wedding, she was unsure about a location/venue. She found out about the Solaris and started emailing Kristi for more information. She was so helpful. Because of Kristi’s quick response to questions and the 5 star reviews, we decided to book her wedding. Once we had signed the contract, Julie began corresponding with my daughter to plan the wedding. Julie was a true blessing! When you are planning a long-distance wedding, it is kind of worrisome not knowing what it will actually be like when you arrive. But Julie was absolutely perfect in helping my daughter plan every detail. She had great ideas about decorations, flowers, etc. She was always willing to make changes as necessary. The wedding took place right before sunset and a storm was passing off in the distance which made for a beautiful sky with the mix of sun and clouds. There was even a rainbow, which was awesome. Julie and the staff did a great job of decorating and incorporating personal items we had brought from home. The food was delicious! The appetizer crab cakes and barbeque shrimp were the best, I would definitely recommend those. The main course, as well as salad and carving stations, was equally as wonderful. The bartenders really got a workout, lol. They were so wonderful and personable with our guests. All of our guests said how much fun they had and how beautiful the wedding was. Many of them made a mini-vacation out of it. The captain, Julie and all of the staff members were first-rate, so professional and accommodating. Thanks to all of you!If you are planning a destination wedding do not be hesitant about booking the Solaris for your wedding and reception. We are so glad we put our trust in Julie. I’m so happy to hear that not many people had the same experience as I did with this company. In the beginning, when I was deciding on packages and everything else, Kristi was amazing. I was getting responses in a very timely manner. Once this part was done, I was handed off to Julie (my “wedding planner”). That’s when everything went downhill. We/I started planning my beach wedding. It would take at least 2 days to get a response from her up until the week of the wedding. That’s fine. I’m a patient person. About a week or so before the wedding, we saw that the weather was supposed to be bad the day of. They say that there is a backup location, but based upon availability. I was offered the boat from 3-4 P.M. (my wedding was set to start at 6P.M.), but we still had friends/family driving in on that day so that option would not be possible. Up until I was able to get in touch with Kristi again, I was having to call around to find a different location because Julie was very busy with other things. So in the end, the rain held off and we got the beach wedding we wanted at the original location. We did not get to have a reception because the wind was too strong for the bonfire reception we had planned (I did get a refund for the bonfire). Also, because I did not purchase a normal reception and catering through them, they did not help find a backup location for it. As I was told, it wasn’t their responsibility. Instead of an apology for everything wrong, I was basically sent a list of reasons why everything was my fault and they did their job. Now, going on 3 weeks later, I get a call from the courthouse telling me that they didn’t fully complete their portion of the marriage license so it can’t be processed yet. What’s next?

If there is one thing to say about having a wedding on the Solaris Yacht it is how amazing the wedding planner Julie is! Everything she was involved with was picture perfect for our wedding, and she made sure all the special touches we wanted were taken care of. It was beyond helpful to have her plan our wedding, and our minds could be at ease knowing she was on top of everything. Sunquest cruises is definitely lucky to have her! Also, the food was beyond amazing! We let our guests pick what entree they wanted, and everyone had nothing but amazing things to say about the food. The yacht was such a fun venue for a wedding, and all our guests loved it. We felt like we lived a fairy tale for a day, and it was truly an amazing wedding on the yacht. Our only complaints, to be completely honest, were the DJ and officiant. We chose to use the DJ the yacht contracts with and made a custom list of songs we wanted played and gave it to him ahead of time. He didn't follow the list though and played music we didn't care for, which is what we were trying to avoid. He also was not the most professional person and pronounced our last name wrong when announcing our first dance, so maybe look into getting a different DJ. The officiant/captain did not seem comfortable doing our ceremony, acting nervous and stumbling over words, and was unaware of what was taking place in the ceremony, such as us saying our own vows, even though we had told me. He also pronounced our last name wrong when introducing us for the first time, even after we had told him beforehand how to pronounce it, and we do not have a hard last name to pronounce, which was kind of a let down. Other than those two hiccups, we would definitely recommend the Solaris Yacht for a wedding and and amazing Julie. It was a wedding to remember, and so much fun!

We LOVED having our all inclusive wedding aboard the Solaris Yacht! We had the BEST.WEDDING.EVER!! People are still talking about our wedding when we see them. From the time I booked the wedding with Kristi, she was very accommodating and even made things fit within our budget. We got married The Sunday before Memorial Day (5/28/17). Once Julie started helping us plan it went smooth as well. She was more than accommodating with different options and again squeezed things in that weren’t really in our budget. They work with you so well in all aspects. The captain who married us was phenomenal!! Very personable. We were from Atlanta, Georgia and I was so nervous about booking before I actually saw everything. They offered my husband and I to come if we were able to cruise beforehand. It was amazing and we knew from the second we stepped on the Yacht with all of the friendly staff we were in good hands. Julie met with us a couple of times when we visited Destin, on site and off site to go over all of our special requests and answer all of my questions and concerns! Day of our wedding Julie and staff stayed on schedule and our wedding was a breeze! The only thing I would change is the in -house DJ. He was absolutely amazing when we did an evening cruise. He sang amazing and DJ’d. He was having a bit of an off day on our wedding night I guess :) But that didn’t stop our guests from having an unforgettable night. The food was absolutely amazing!! We highly recommend the crab cake appetizers and the filet mignon. Everybody raved about them! There’s nothing I would change about our special day!

The presentation was amazing, the food spectacular, but most importantly, the service we cannot say enough about. Everyone was so genuine and willing to help out. I'm a former hotelier and event planner, so of course, I'm very TYPE A about details. I would highly recommend the Solaris to anyone getting married. Keep this in mind, my husband and I NEVER saw the beach we got married on nor the yacht. Everything was done sight-unseen. That made what Julie did that much more special. We love her!!! I also recommend The Cake Destination for your cake, as well as Angela Frances Photography.

Best day ever! My wedding day on the Solaris was just perfect! The bonus is you get to have your very own wedding coordinator to help you with every detail!! Julie had great ideas and helped make everything come together just as I imagined! Julie was also there to coordinate all the details during the wedding and reception!I did not have to worry about the time and when it was time for the next event. She informed the guests when it was time for the first dance, cake cutting, etc. At the end of the night, all I had to do is say goodbye to my guests! No clean up, no worries! I cannot say enough positive things about Julie, the captain who married us and all of the staff! The only down side is the day went way too fast and I want to do it all over again!! It was a stress free experience and a beautiful venue!!

I cannot say enough positive things about Julie, the captain who married us and all of the staff! The only down side is the day went way too fast and I want to do it all over again!! It was a stress free experience and a beautiful venue!!

My wife and I got married back in August this year (2017). Julie from Solaris Cruises was our planner. She went above and way beyond all of our expectations. She did more than she had too and was more than accommodating with everything. Their company had never performed a bonfire rehearsal dinner on the beach, and when we inquired about it with them they didn't even hesitate to make it happen for us no matter what legal hoops they had to jump through for us. Julie's number one concern was our happiness and satisfaction with the event. We couldn't have been more pleased with everything. if we could give her 100 stars we would. Solaris Cruises is definitely the #1 choice for weddings in Florida. We would recommend them to anyone. Thank you so much Julie!!

She gave me choices and answered all of my questions without every batting an eyelash. I am convinced that this experience was so wonderful because of her. She communicates effectively, is nice, and knows exactly what she is doing which is the main that that helps her be so amazing at her job. I didn't ask a question that she didn't know the answer to. She also went out of her way to help me with everything from flowers to cake to photos to make up and hair. We are a same sex couple, and we were very concerned about everything being perfect without judgment. Julie made that happen and ensured that everything was perfect. She is wonderful.

I can’t say enough about this cruise and its amazing staff. One staff member in particular that I must rave about is Julie. She was the wedding coordinator for my and my husband’s wedding. Julie was so easy to work with providing suggestions and budget friendly options to make our big day spectacular yet affordable. She answered every question I had along the way, no matter how trivial. Julie, I can’t thank you enough for the job well done! Our family and friends are still talking about our wedding, and I’m sure they will be for a long time coming!Another member I must brag on is the bartender. He was fast and efficient, providing drinks to all of our guests with virtually no wait time. Another member I must brag on is the captain. He recognized that the winds were reaching speeds that were unsafe for us to travel through, so he took us back to the dock early. It did get really rough, so I’m glad he did that for us! We of course continued the party on the yacht, but just at the dock!The chef here was amazing! Everything that I tasted was amazing, and all of our guests say the same thing!Overall, I do not have a single bad word to say about Sunquest Cruises. They were attentive and maintained an open line of communication with me from day one. From beginning to end the most helpful crew you could ever ask for. We started talking with Kristi and then they hired an angel, Julie. She decorated elegantly the boat along with the flowers we had desired. She and a crew member even managed to pull off being the DJ when he was a no show. It wasn't cheap but it was everything we had asked for and more. The crew helped in every way they could. Captain even helped with a motorized wheelchair as he got stuck on the exit ramp. ALL had a fabulous time.

My fiance and mother handled a majority of the planning with event coordinator Julie (who was excellent, professional, calming and a fantastic guide for the night) with less than three months to pull a wedding together. The venue is unique and upscale, the food was incredible (again no exaggeration), Julie handled delivery of the cake and other details, the staff was so friendly and welcoming that I felt we had known them for years. My family had an amazing time, and my husband and I both agree it was the perfect day thanks to Julie and the Solaris staff! We can't say enough and we're recommending this venue to anyone and everyone who will listen. :)

My sunset wedding was PERFECT! Never in a million years would I have thought planning a wedding would have been so easy. Julie made planning a wedding the most easiest major event I have ever planned. I sent her my Pinterest ideas and she made them 20x better than I would have ever imagined. When I tell you everything was perfect it really was. Let me not forget the food, it was freaking amazing. All 60 + guest complemented on how great the food was. The team of waiters taking great care of my guest. The bartender kept the drinks flowing. The Dj kept the party going. If you're looking for a once in a lifetime wedding the Solaris dinner cruise is the place. Julie kept the night flowing smooth. Never did I ever feel like I was being rushed through my night my husband and I got a chance to truly enjoy ourselves. The transition from wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing was done nicely. Oh yeah I can't forget the plated dinner. There was no wait all my guest had their food placed in front of them in less than 15-20 minutes. Sorry for jumping around but some many great things about my special day keeps jumping out at me. This will be a day I will never forget. Thank You Solaris staff and Julie for making our day a time that we will remember for always.

Our wedding day & reception on 10/15/16 aboard the Solaris was absolutely perfect! Everyone who attended, including my husband and I, traveled from out of town. Our planner, Julie was very responsive to me and the many emails during the months leading up to our big day. Trying to plan an event from a distance was challenging and it required that I put a lot of trust in Julie and the Solaris staff. They did not disappoint! The decorations on the bridal platform and dinner reception were exactly as I had envisioned. Everyone raved about the food and the onboard entertainment. Having both the ceremony and reception on the yacht was the best decision and made a natural transition for our guests. It was a perfect day and perfect venue!

My husband and I had our wedding aboard the Solaris and it was an absolute fairytale! We felt like royalty and they catered our every need. Our wedding coordinator Julie was always quick at responding to my constant emails! I even forgot our wedding cake topper and Julie was like no problem I'll fix that! If there was one day I could repeat over and over it would be our wedding day aboard the solaris!!! The only thing I would have changed is that we had more time! 4 hours isn't long enough!!! So glad we chose the Solaris!

I was a nervous wreck that everything would go as planned and I am thrilled to say that Julie and the staff aboard the Solaris far exceeded any expectations we could have ever had! Absolutely everything about our reception was perfect. It was the reception every girl dreams of!!Julie was very patient with my many change requests leading up to our reception and sent me a revised agenda of events for the evening every time I made change. Julie gave me a peace of mind that all was going to be perfect and I knew then that we had made the right choice for our reception. We chose to have our reception with the public & to anyone wondering how that works....lets just say you feel as if you have the whole boat to yourself. Julie and the staff made us feel like royalty the entire evening. The decorations they used were beautiful, the food was amazing and the staff was incredible! And, the public that was cruising that night became fast friends and felt like they were part of our party. Julie ensured that everything stayed on schedule throughout the night so we were able to enjoy all the fun things we had planned. We had a first dance, father-daughter dance, mother-groom dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter toss and sparkler send off. We even enjoyed a ride on the golf cart to our limo bus afterwards. I highly recommend the Solaris cruise to anyone looking for a beautiful destination wedding or reception. The boat is beautiful and the people planning your event and working your event are even more amazing! You will not be disappointed with this choice. My wife and I had our reception on the Solaris on 8/22/2016. It was the coolest experience. Having a wedding reception on the water is a great idea and the Solaris made it even better. All of our guests loved everything about it. Julie, our planner, was more than helpful from day one. She answered every question that we had, and there were many. We stepped onto the boat and everything looked amazing! Julie and her team did an excellent job. The staff on the boat was very professional and their service was top notch. The food was honestly in my top 3 meals I have ever had. If i did not live in Chicago, I would eat dinner there every night. We are so happy we had our reception on the Solaris and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about it to do it!

We are so happy we had our reception on the Solaris and would highly recommend to anyone thinking about it to do it!

Married 10/16/16. I could not have pictured our wedding reception any differently! This was such an incredible experience and we are beyond happy with how everything worked out for our reception on the Solaris. Julie was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process and made planning a destination wedding so easy for us. Julie is amazing and I was amazed on how helpful she was through the whole thing but even the night out on the boat. I would highly recommend the Solaris for a wedding. It was absolutely perfect and all the guests loved it. It was a very unique experience for all the guests who traveled from out of town. The food was also incredible! I would give them more stars if I could! Thank you again to the whole Solaris team who made our night so special and unigue!

My husband and I got married on the Solaris on July 10th, 2016. It was a beautiful sunday evening, perfect temperature, not too windy. I was so stressed about the wedding and I was worried something would go horribly wrong and the whole thing would have to be rescheduled, but it was absolutely perfect, I would not have had it any other way! Kristi and Julie walked me through everything to make sure she perfectly understood everything I wanted and made sure that I'd get it. On the big day, loading went smoothly, the reception went perfectly, aside from my husband knocking over and breaking a vase (which was hilarious and lightened the mood a little), which was instantly taken care of, quickly and discreetly. I didn't even know until someone asked me about it later and I was standing on the stairs about to walk down the aisle!After the reception, we took photos, and all cried and hugged and calmed down for a moment before the party started. Our DJ was the Solaris' live music entertainer and he did a wonderful job. The food was fantastic, I had the beef and it was better than any steak house I've been to. The rest of the night was full of love, happiness, laughter, and a great time! I would suggest the Solaris to anyone wanting to get married in Destin!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect! Our wedding coordinator, Julie, was heaven sent! She made sure all of my (very specific) wants and needs were met. I was a little stressed out about having everything set up without me being there to have total control, but when I got to the yacht, everything was PERFECT. I could not find one thing that wasn't exactly how I had envisioned it and described it to her. The DJ/musician suggested by the boat was wonderful too! He played a acoustic set of Beatles music for my ceremony and it really set the perfect mood for the breezy sunset ceremony. The bartenders were lovely, the waitstaff was very helpful, and the kitchen (galley?) staff were very accommodating. We had a guest who received his requested meal, only to find out that it had mushrooms (which he is allergic to). Julie had the kitchen whip him up another meal option and got it right out to him, so he could still eat with everyone else. There were a lot of menu options and I am pretty sure I stole a bite or two of every type during the reception - they were all so delicious! We even got two meals prepared to-go in case we didn't eat much during the reception and were hungry later. I should absolutely be giving this venue 5 stars except that the carpet, wall paper, and standard chairs on the boat are pretty hideous. I rented pipe and drape just to hide the back wall in the dining room and tons of chiavari chairs to replace the bright red ones provided. This yacht would be so much classier looking with something like navy blue or dark grey carpeting, and a crisp wall color rather than the outdated yellowy textured hue there now. Other than that, Sunquest exceeded our expectations and we would strongly recommend it for any kind of event - especially weddings!

The service and food were amazing. They did a good job of spoiling our guests throughout the night and my husband and I didn't have to even go to the bar once. The D.J. was awesome and had an amazing voice. He did a good job of personalizing our reception and placing our names into the songs. Our guests thought it was a recording until they heard our names and realized he was singing. We couldn't have picked a better place for our reception. Our guests couldn't stop raving about it afterwards.

Being a gay wedding my husband and I were very Leary about venues and providers for our wedding. We considered many things but ultimately wanted something all inclusive that would be memorable and comfortable for our guests. I found Solaris through various searches and was back and forth with phone calls for almost a month, but finally was able to get in contact with the event scheduler. TRUST me it was worth the back and forth phone calls! They stay busy and we would always miss each other,so don't loose hope there if you are trying to contact them. Everything about the process was top notch, and I am not one to mince words or just give a good review afraid of hurting someone's feelings. Julie was great and for me to say that is a big deal because I am quite particular about EVERYTHING. She was on point the whole time and really allowed me to just relax knowing she was keeping things in order. The food and the service made us and all our guest feel like royalty. The entertainer was over the top funny, witty, and had a strange sixth sense of what music to play. He made jokes with us stating it was the first gay wedding he had DJ'D at which really made us feel welcome. All of the staff were welcoming and treated us with the utmost respect with support in our marriage which we were worried about before hand. The atmosphere is magical and undeniably just memorable. We did an all inclusive package with ceremony, open bar, diner, and entertainer. All of the apprehensions we had about the wedding and being accepted quickly went away the second I met Julie. If you are looking for a magical atmosphere, amazing food, great DJ, a stress free event, to be treated like royalty, and hassle free with everything in one place then this is the wedding venue for you! It is worth the cost of doing the private charter! To any of the gay couples out there who may have some of the same apprehensions that we had I tell you..... This will be your dream wedding in all aspects. They allowed us to go as untraditional as we wanted even to the point where our grooms maids led the ceremony each one playing their own role, substituting the toast for a song that I sang to my husband, and embracing our marriage in every way! I really cannot thank them enough. I also have to put in a plug for Jeannie Davis Photography and the AMAZING pictures she captured. She may not be a preferred vendor of SunQuest but should be highly considered to become a preferred vendor as she would be an asset to their company and the events they hold. WOW!! As this was my second wedding I was looking for something that meant I didn't have to plan and remember every detail. I wanted a great experience for all of our family and to show up and have the help I needed. I can't say enough about the Solaris and their staff. The Solaris was the best experience of my life! I am in the military and my fiancé was still at home in another state until 2 days before the wedding. Kristi, our wedding planner, was The Most Helpful lady ever. She made the entire thing easy and stress free. I have never met a nicer group of people, from Kristi, to people aboard the boat, to the Captain who did our wedding. It was the most amazing time of my life. If i could have another wedding with unlimited money and could go anywhere, i would still have it there with them. Hands down the best place to possibly have a wedding, or even a romantic date. The Solaris Yacht was an amazing experience from start to finish. During the planning process, Kristi was incredibly friendly and thorough, and made sure I had everything I wanted for my special day. She was very prompt with getting back to me every time I messaged her. The yacht was absolutely gorgeous, decorated exactly how I imagined. The food was delicious. The weather was amazing. The only thing that happened was for my first dance, the music messed up. For a minute or so, the guests on board helped sing the song. It ended up being a sweet memory in the end, though. Overall, choosing the Solaris was a fantastic decision-- an amazing experience I will never forget!

The Solaris took on our 55 guests with ease! It was the fairytale reception I ever wanted thanks to Kristi! Everyone on the boat was eager to please us with every want or need we had. The food was amazing! They offered any drink you could want. Although we didn't get our sparkler send off we asked for, the fireworks at the pier in June were just as good for us! I would recommend Solaris to anyone wanting an amazing reception! From our cake being delivered to the dock, the wonderful food, gorgeous sunset photos captured, I wish I could do it all over again!!

10/18/2015\rAfter months of planning, my daughter's wedding day had so many special moments it is difficult to choose which ones to share. The planning part was made simple because Kristi, Solaris's Wedding Planner, had the confidence and knowledge to walk with us on our journey. Highlights included:\r**The yacht was such a great choice....so unique!\r**The decorations, which we basically dropped off in boxes at the staff's door, were placed perfectly. \r**the ceremony was lovely with the setting sun as a beautiful backdrop. Captain Wilcox performed the ceremony which was a extra nice touch.\r**Our three chosen entrees were cooked to perfection and the presentation was impressive. The pizza for the young attendees could have been less spicy. (great choice...great pictures).\rWe wondered how we would ever get all the decorations, gifts and the personal belongings of the bride off the boat. 10/18/2015\rAfter months of planning, my daughter's wedding day had so many special moments it is difficult to choose which ones to share. The planning part was made simple because Kristi, Solaris's Wedding Planner, had the confidence and knowledge to walk with us on our journey. Highlights included:\r**The yacht was such a great choice....so unique!\r**The decorations, which we basically dropped off in boxes at the staff's door, were placed perfectly. \r**the ceremony was lovely with the setting sun as a beautiful backdrop. Captain Wilcox performed the ceremony which was a extra nice touch.\r**Our three chosen entrees were cooked to perfection and the presentation was impressive. The pizza for the young attendees could have been less spicy. This was the perfect venue for my parents 50th wedding reception! The luxury of getting a completely private space to decorate to our wishes and set up they way we wanted was important to us. The staff went above and beyond to ensure the details that were important to us were important to them. The food was beautiful and full of great flavors. The musician was engaged and helped keep our guest on the dance floor. Overall I never imagined the night would turn out as magical as it did. My parents were overwhelmed by it all. Any one looking for a place to get married or hold a reception the Solaris is the perfect location.

Our day was absolutely perfect! The entire staff waited on us hand and foot. They made sure every detail was taken care of and everything ran absolutely flawlessly. All of my stress was taken away! \r\rKristi took incredible care of us. She made sure we had everything we needed and kept us on the perfect schedule. I was thoroughly impressed how all of my guests were treated aboard the Solaris as well. Everyone said how accommodating and friendly the staff was!\r\rOur food and overall experience was fabulous. I would highly recommend the Solaris. We chartered the entire boat and did add a few extras(which were more impressive than I could've imagined). My guests are still talking about how wonderful the food was!

Our private wedding of 70 people aboard the Solaris was nothing short of amazing! I live 2 hours away and I was a little nervous about not being close enough plan the wedding of my dreams. Once I met Kristi I knew we were in good hands. With just a few meetings and some e-mails back and forth she was able to implement my vision flawlessly, She really made the planning process a breeze. The chef put a delicious menu together and every last bite was incredible. The chef even worked on some custom appetizers that better suited my guests. Service and keeping drinks filled/ plates collected was top notch. I was hesitant to use the DJ but I am soooo glad I did. At one point I thought we were listening to an Elton John song but he was actually the one singing...fabulous! The sunset that evening was breathtaking and the pictures were gorgous. I cannot say enough positive things about having your wedding aboard the Solaris.The only regret I have is not adding on an extra hour! All of my guests said it was the best wedding they have ever attended; and I know that every penny that was spent was worth it. Thank you Sunquest Cruises for making the wedding of my dreams become a reality!

It was very difficult to rate our experience with stars so I chose middle of the road. It was a mix of good and bad so I didn't want to deter other couples from choosing Solaris..especially if you're a bride with simple tastes. The cost was good considering we chartered the entire yacht for our reception. Staff was nice throughout planning and charter. There were issues back and forth with quoted prices that changed during the planning process, but we figured it out as we went. The yacht itself is decent. Not luxuriously kept nor decorated, but simple and clean. Decent. It's an older yacht. But once you place your own decorations around it looks ok. But it takes a lot. Overall ok experience but definitely not without negatives. Negatives: Bathroom in bridal suite was out of order. Setup and decorations weren't complete on time and ready when guests were ready to board which caused and enormous amount of stress on me as the bride. Some Centerpiece vases were never filled with water which ruined the \"floating\" effect we discussed.(Ok I'm a perfectionist, but most are on their wedding day). Because charter started a bit late due to late boarding our reception charter was also cut short which derailed our planned schedule, most guests didn't notice, but I did. Older yacht. Carpet needs replacing. Ceiling needs some upkeep or replacing. Sound system was terrible on top deck. Our DJ was frustrated and guests complained about music volume being static filled and too low. Positives: We still had a blast. The food was spectacular! The chef (whom I never got to meet because of the hectic schedule issues) is truly talented! All of our guests are still raving about the food. Staff was extremely attentive during charter. Bridal suite was a good hideout for me to change and do makeup..and sip champagne..which staff kept bringing me..which I loved. It was a beautiful sunny day. Perfect weather for a charter. The staff decorated the top deck perfectly. Staff tried to accommodate all of our needs and even removed the godawful maroon curtains from the 1st deck for our reception (maroon is the one color that I hate so it sounds simple but this was HUGE for me). The cruise was smooth. Music inside were great. 2Nd floor bar was perfect with great drinks for guests. We purposefully paid for a limited open bar, which I recommend to avoid guests getting too tipsy at your wedding..in the ocean. The staff handled the bar perfectly. The charter for our wedding reception was a beautifully unique experience with a few kinks, yet we were surrounded by loved ones smooth sailing on a yacht with immaculate views and scenery..

We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding on Solaris Sunquest Wedding/Dinner Cruise. The food was very good, the ceremony and reception was decorated beautifully. The only suggestion we would give is to ensure you pay for your own DJ/floor on the cruise. We did not enjoy the music played by the DJ the cruise provided. It was not our style. I would suggest an earlier time for the actual wedding ceremony so there is ample time for the wedding party and guest to mingle and listen to their taste of music before others began boarding the boat. Time and distance was an issue since we lived in Alabama and were getting married in Florida. The Solaris staff was impressive from day one. They were super easy to get in touch with and were able to arrange a show and tell and book us on a dinner cruise with very little notice. They have customer service that is impeccable. They made a big announcement about our engagement and plans to wed on the yacht during the dinner cruise making us feel very welcome and pleased with our decision. \r\rWe held both the ceremony and reception aboard the Solaris so we opted for the private charter cruise so we could have complete privacy. Our ceremony took place on the top deck so our 80 plus guests had a spectacular view. The captain officiated our wedding making it even more romantic. The reception involved a three course meal and the food was delicious. Appetizers were a must as it provided something for our guests to snack on while they awaited our entrance. As the bride and groom we were constantly on the move so it stood out when the chefs sent our appetizers to us. \r\rWe used the in-house entertainer to DJ the bar on the second floor and we hired an outside entertainer to play on the bottom deck. Was pleased with everything. Although we were not able to have our first dance since I injured my knee, I was more than ecstatic when they agreed to letting my outside entertainer plug into the sound system for our first dance since he was singing one of his own songs. They were definitely there to please me! \r\rKristi was amazing! She kept the night moving right on schedule. I didn't have to worry about anything. We were constantly in touch via email during the planning process and on the rare occasion that I needed to speak to her directly she was super easy to get on the telephone. Kristi met us at the office so we could drop off some of our items a couple days prior so we wouldn't have to worry about getting it to the boat the day of the ceremony. She arranged a wedding rehearsal the day before the wedding to help make me feel more comfortable. Definitely a must for the biggest, most important day of my life. \r\rWe only had one hiccup which involved the timing of our fireworks. We wanted the fireworks to be the big grand finale when we docked the boat at the end of the night but it turns out that you can't have fireworks going off after 9 pm. Since this was a must for me we moved the entire ceremony up two hours. Kristi contacted all of my vendors while my parents, my fiance, and I contacted our guests. Everything turned out just fine and all of our guests were able to accommodate the new time. That fireworks show was SPECTACULAR!!!!! Best way to end the night! Unforgettable!!!\r\rWe have had so many compliments on our wedding from our family and friends, and even the staff aboard the Solaris. Every person on staff was nothing short of amazing. \r\rMy only regret is not choosing to go with a longer package. We went with the 4 hour private charter (which was absolutely fabulous), but I can definitely see the benefit of having it for a couple more hours.\r
